Very pleased with this beautiful copy! I read the movie tie-in paperback in 1971 after seeing the movie Willard. I was 11 years old and this was my first adult book. I remember thinking that the original publishing title, Ratman's Notebooks, was so cool. The use of the color purple by Suntup is nicely reminiscent of the purple edges of the paperback. So happy to have this edition!

I’m in love with Suntup’s Ratman’s Notebook. Very high quality for a good price. On par or better than my recent Folio Society buys. Excited to get more Suntup Editions in the future!

A marvelous little edition

This edition is a worthy tribute to Gilbert's almost forgotten short novel. I read through it the first day I received it and enjoyed both Gilbert's dark humor (again) and the feel of the Suntup book. The illustrations are both macabre and beautiful at the same time and it was worth both the price and the wait.
