Skyline Trail Joggers, Why not just high end running pants for the trail?
I was originally just going to use my Nike running pants for hiking/backpacking for warmer/hotter days, But as soon as I put the OV Joggers on,The running pants got tossed to the side. The Nike running pants fail in several ways, Even though they breathe, They don’t breathe as good as the OV Joggers, The Nike’s were not meant to dry quickly if they get wet, I’m not sure of the durability of Nike because they are featherweight running pants by design, I don’t think they’re tear and wear resistant to the trail, And the Nike’s are more athletic close fitting while the OV’s feel like comfortable leasure wear. There’s no difference in price, Both could work for hiking/backpacking but the OV is just more purpose built for these conditions.

Comfortable, Light and Breathable
I thoroughly enjoy the joggers as a casual pant to wear when it is warmer or hot and I do not want to be sweaty. They also provide coverage when it is slightly cooler. I have used for hiking and casual, no serious activity. The mesh regions keep me cooler. I ordered a tall to give me more length. Regular works but I prefer the longer pant.

I can't speak to durability yet, but I love the light weight for desert hiking where I want to keep my skin covered up. It packs down incredibly small. The vents along the side feel great! It is, obviously, quite thin, so I will be very careful about things like brambles, or scooting on my butt, or where I choose to sit on rocky hike. The instructions say not to even wash them in a machine with an agitator, which I have already cautiously tried anyway (in a large lingerie bag).
