Although this feed is very well made and the idea is there. It really depends on the species of birds in your area..I have tried everything and it will not work for me..If you live wilts Downy's and nuthatches that regularly visit your luck will be better..for me it just has not luck..hope yours does

This upside down suet feeders works well to deter starling which is why I purchased it. Unfortunately flickers and pileated woodpeckers struggle to use it. Happily small birds such as chickadees and bushtits are able to access the suet.
