Nothing beats the original.

This updated version of the Original Tree Runner is very supportive and offers great cushioning, but it falls short in breathability and flexibility. The original Tree Runner had a breathable insole that helped keep feet cool and comfortable. This new version uses the wool insole carried over from the Wool Runner which is more of a Fall/Winter shoe. I'm not sure why Allbirds chose to put a wool insole in what is marketed as a breezy summer shoe. In hot weather, it doesn't feel nearly as breathable as the original Tree Runner, and my feet don't feel as cool or airy as they did in the previous model.

They are comfortable

I have wide feet and these shoes are perfect. Very comfortable. I use them for everyday use including travel and site seeing. Great purchase.

The shoe is just what I anticipated. Comfortable, supportive and stylish.
