Toneforge® DI Match

Tonematch plugin is awesome. Recently I have playing around with mixing various sub genres of metal, various tunings 6,7,8 guitars and bass guitar. I have found this plugin to add a significant difference to my tone sculpting. Wel done JST tones on a fantastic plugin. Money well spent :-)

Tonematch = impressive!

I finally got around to downloading and activating DI Tonematch and after getting an idea of how it works I’m impressed! Worth noting that its functionality isn’t a reflection of the UI, however it does seem a little clunky and outdated compared to what most people in music/audio would be used to. The active button shocked me as to how its algorithm added a layer of compression that sounded fantastic despite not needing to apply it. Highly recommend if you need to keep consistency in guitar/bass tones regardless of what instrument/DI track you’re working with

Toneforge DI is a lifesaver

I have a cheap guitar with cheap passive pickups and an expensive guitar with better pickups. I wanted Toneforge for my "bad" guitar, but now I am also using it for the other one. Sometimes the tone's right; sometimes it needs something different. This plugin delivers. It doesn't matter if you're recording/editing/mixing your guitar via hardware or in the box; Toneforge just broadens your list of choices. I think it is a must for a "guitar music" producer.
