I Purchased this item for its functionality . From wandering the length of my local Canal which has very little cover to following my local meandering river the gaiter provides an excellent shield to my neck , especially when I pull the gaiter up over my “Tide Runner Cap “ from the intense sun we are currently experiencing . The gaiter’s lightweight and lazer cut breathable holes keeps me cool even on the hottest days . As an added bonus the gaiter is an excellent shield from the ubiquitous mosquitoes and I’ve returned home with far fewer bites from around my head and neck For my Summer Angling I have purchased the Aegis UPF50+ Sun Hoodie along with the ultralight and ultra breathable Tide Runner Cap and the UPF50+ Cooling Neck Gaiter , using these 3 items have been exceptional , functional and comfortable to wear, which has made my days fishing even more enjoyable .
