I purchased replacement lines for my 2012 F-350 6.7 from Orielly’s. For installation ALLDATA R&R steps include the removal of the oil filter, and the filter housing to create room for the lines. For OEM replacement you remove the two lines from the oil cooler. The lines on the cooler are supposed to separate from the fitting with a removal tool. My lines were fused and despite trying every trick in the book (I believe I know them all) no luck. I was able to remove both fittings as one fused unit. After market fittings for the 2012 don’t exist. Dorman usually has OEM replacements but not for the 2012. I contacted a Ford Dealership, they had one in stock but I would have to wait a week to come in. I’m glad that I didn’t remove the oil filter housing because at that point I decided to check out SPE. With their kit you don’t have to remove the housing, the lines bolt directly to the cooler (get rid of those horrible Ford fittings). Once I received the new lines the install was a breeze. The kit from SPE is of high quality. You might think it’s a bit pricey but if I stuck to the original OEM style I think the costs would have exceeded the SPE kit. The biggest issue is Ford has a bad design & the inordinate amount of time spent trying to remove those fittings was a total waste of time & effort. I live in New England so all equipment is subjected to road salt which is a battle in itself to keep up with.

Stock transmission lines started leaking leaving me stranded during my busy time of year. Quick shipping, super straight forward install and back on the road. Paired this with the trans cooler and wow what a drop in temps (driving around 182 unloaded). High quality product that fixed my issue and easily too.
