Glasser Carbon Composite Acoustic-Electric 6-String Violin

BEAUTIFUL!

Had my heart set on a 6-string 'Viola', but string manufacturers crushed that dream... still, I'm EXTREMELY happy with this 6-string Violin by Glasser. I already own a 5-string Violin & 5-string Viola, so pretty much knew what I was in for & have wanted a 6-string since the 1st time saw Jesus Florido using one in a workshop! The low F string is SOOOO ADDICTIVE - and the E string comes in handy for learning many fiddle tunes in their original key! Glasser was ingenious, making the wider neck/fingerboard easier to manage by flattening the profile! Yes, they are heavier than a wood violin, but the price is right for this hobbyist... and come on, I'm a GIRL & have no problem with the weight of it. Sounds FABULOUS plugged into my mini amp! ...and I prefer this over the AEX version. I took a chance on the color blue & was pleasantly surprised by a low-key sparkle of little sapphires - VERY CLASSY!
