Classic Cuts Collection

My last two orders of “Classic Cuts” have been received with compromised packaging. The first incident involved a strip steak that I thawed (unopened) in the fridge on a paper towel/plate. I noticed a collection of steak juices that had leaked out of the packaging onto the paper towel. I noticed a small (toothpick sized) hole in the packaging. I sent 44 Farms an email with photos and received an apology. Last evening, I placed a sealed rib eye (from the second order) in a cold water bath to initiate the thaw. An hour later, I noted the packaging to contain more water than steak juices. I let the water drain through the hole (in the packaging) and questioned whether the waterlogged strip contained in the compromised packaging was fit/safe for consumption. I decided to not grill the steak. During the last 2 years, I have purchased several “packages” as well as gift cards for friends and family. Always been pleased with your products but it’s unlikely I’ll be placing any future orders. MJM

This package gives you the best of the best cuts with ribeyes, strips and filets. Here’s a look at one of the strips I did last night. Reverse sear and medium rare. This steak had absolutely amazing taste and so juicy. 44 Farms just consistently provides quality meats that never disappoints.

A gift for my brother’s birthday. He would not buy the steaks for himself but we decided he deserved the extra protein after his hip replacement surgery.
