Chats about God: A Novel Seeking Faith (ebook)

Wow! What an amazing book. I would consider this book a spark, that reignites the flames of our your hearts desire for a deeper understanding of your belief system. The Author, starts with many questions he had as a college student, with his belief system. He goes through each area, trying to silify his belief that there is a God, and what he really believed about him. This is a man that grew up in a believeing family. I think it is important to question what we believe and the motivation behind it. Is it what you really believe or is it something family and friends belive, and you are just going along with the crowd? I love how he address some of the philosophies that counteract the orginal belief system he was brought up in. Every Seminary professor, Dean of Students, and student should have to read this book, to get the juices flowing once again. Every Pastor, local church board, Sunday school teacher, and congregations should read this book. Now this does not give us the answer to every question someone might have about thier faith... but it gives us a playbook which to use in discovering what we really believe and how to present it. I also would love to meet this other individual who is into philosophy and C.S. Lewis, just to have a conversation with her, I agree she is very smart. This is a great book, I could not put it down. I might see how I can trun it into a study group for my church.
