Cold Brew Perfection!

I am a cold brew concentrate devotee in search of perfection. I found it with Kloo! I bought a taster set to figure out which flavors I enjoyed the most. All of them are amazing, with a slight leaning toward Ethiopia and Colombia, and Kenya a close third. Now I am hooked. These make a great gift, but good luck prying them from my hands/fridge.

Better than the BEST

I started drinking Kloo shortly after they were featured in Bon Appetite magazine earlier this year. Initially, I ordered the Mini Gift Set, so that I could taste test all the varieties. When I received my order, I was firstly very impressed with the presentation. It felt like a gift and to be perfectly honest here, I am a sucker for packaging. From the embroidered cloth bag to the glass bottles, to the coffee wheel… wow! When I tried my first taste, I was concerned that something wasn't right. BUT... what I quickly realized is that what was missing was the acidity and brunt beans that I had become accustomed to from big brand coffee houses, like Starbucks and Peet's. Over the years, my brain started to associate bitterness with strong coffee. WRONG... Kloo is truly the creme de la creme of coffee. It's velvety smooth, no acid, but delivers that caffeine punch that I love. There are endless recipes offered by Kloo and I've started venturing into all those possibilities. It's fun and has truly changed my daily ritual. As pretentious as it may sound, I'm uber impressed that there exists such a thing as a Coffee Sommelier (Q Taster). The title carries with it a lot of responsibility and I’ve researched and truly come to appreciate what it means. What I haven’t mentioned is customer care. WOW… Long story short – I had a delivery issue coupled with a product defect. While initially things didn’t seem to get resolved very quickly, it all worked out. The founder, Hank Snoh, personally emailed and me to resolve my issue. He followed though for weeks and 100000% made it right. I’m now a customer for life and a mouthpiece for Kloo.
