I love these cookies. I first had these at a middle eastern restaurant that i would frequent, when it occured to me to see if i could buy them directly from the purveyor.
I always now purchase directly and love these beautifully baked cookies with a delicious date filling in the center of the oval shaped cookie with a flat botton encrusted wih Pistachio bits. I always keep a good supply of these on hand.
Part of my breakfast ritual is 1 of these mamoul cookies with a macchiato coffe.
I highly recommend these that always are packed beautifully.
