The bar pieces were not dressed prior to welding so the pointy part of the bars on the inside were razor sharp. Even if you do get the wires pulled without stripping shrink wrap or wire insulation off you wouldn't want them laying on that razor sharp edge. Just poor manufacturing process that I hope they fix in the future because I really like the look and bend of the bars.
