Love it

I use this for detailing boats and vehicles as well. Definitely a better backing than original 5 inch. Great for wet sanding with an interface pad on it and for polishing just gives a better feel. Original one is too small and more square, this 6 inch is shaped like a normal backing plate. Allows more coverage as well since you’re using a 6 inch pad vs 5.

Worth the money

Believe it or not, it makes the job go easier and quicker and it does the same job but faster than a 5 inch. I’m very pleased with the purchase, and if you don’t have one, I recommend to get one on your flex.
