I have issues with shin splints and these rubber studs have saved me from buying new boots fit for the ground. I would recommend trying these studs out as they are brilliant, one thing I would say is tighten them with a piece of material over so you can get more grip and tighten the studs properly as I have noticed just tightening them bare hand isn’t enough as they come lose very quickly
