St. Barts Linen Summer Cover

I bought this back in the winter to prepare for Summer and I love the idea of this in place of a duvet, especially as I'm based in Southern California. Love the color too. That being said, when it arrived, it essentially seemed like a way overpriced top sheet. In the winter, it wasn't warm enough, in the summer, it's not very breathable. I imagine this may improve a bit after a few washes but honestly, coming from someone who used to work at a linens company, unboxing from the get go was really disappointing. Not really much of a difference between my other linen top sheets and this linen summer cover. I'd definitely recommend passing unless this becomes significantly cheaper.
