Cougar Canvas Concealed Carry Waist and Leg Bag

Positives & negatives

I am still getting used to this bag as it is the first hip/leg bag I have tried. Positives: Very well made, sturdy, has the velcro-sided concealed carry compartment that the included elastic/velcro holster attaches to, nice metal for the hardware, nice color choices available. Still getting used to: Not easy to put the waist strap on because of where the clasp is. You have to reach all the way around your back to be able to connect the ends. I thought I would like the leg strap as a way of anchoring the bag in place, but am finding myself not using it so much as, with shorts anyway, the strap catches on my leg when I go from standing to sitting or back again. Maybe it will be different with long pants/jeans. I also wish this item was USA-made but it's made in China which could have colored my purchase decision if I had been aware of that before I bought it. But overall, this bag is very well made and I am happy with it.

I love this bag. My Glock 17 with slide pull charging handle fits (barely) the concealed zipper pocket. CC pocket is the bigger zipper pocket under the flap. The larger outside pocket is big enough for my wallet. I could actually use the outside pocket for my friend and inside pocket for my wallet. I just got it today, so I haven't used it yet. The straps are longer, giving enough for any size person. The canvas is nice and thick, so should be sturdy enough to last. The rings for straps are thick brass (?), also the hooks are thick brass.
