A step up

Put an Alnico 5 P90 in my Epiphone LP Jr. this pick up really brings out the growl and harmonics I am looking for in a jr. Much more complexity to the tone and it really drives the tubes on my Supro amp. Totally satisfied.

Great P90’s!

Just got these in and installed. I had a set of Wolftone P90’s with alnico 2’s. These pickups blow those out of the water. Beautifully articulate with just enough grit for that perfect P90 tone. Could be happier with these pickups and the service.

P90 in a Junior

Very full sounding without being dull. Lots of swirl and gnarl in the tone. Cleans up great with the volume knob. Compared to a Lollar, it’s not darker or brighter, very similar, but more “texture” in the tone.
