Unexpected shipping expenses

Scanner is great, easy to use and quite self explanatory. The shipping however was a bit disappointing. I was buying this from Australia, and the shipping was $75 usd to my door, which I thaught was quite expensive, but i proceeded to checkout, and made my purchase. A few days later, I get a text from DHL, saying I need to pay duties, import processing charge, duty tax handling and gst, amounting to over $250. They said you have 5 days or your package will be sent back.There was 0 mention of any of these expenses, so it came as quite a shock. Quite rediculas really, at least it could have said under the shipping section of cart, you might be responsible for your countries gst, border fees etc etc. But no, not one word, and for the original shipping price of 75 usd you would think it would all be taken care of.
