I do like this rug

I really like this rug, and it fits my wide-barreled mare well. The fabric is durable, and the overall construction is of good quality. However, I rated it four stars instead of five because, after just the second use, the stitching that secures the loop attachment on one of the leg straps came undone, causing my mare to lose it. I resolved this issue by replacing the leg straps with more substantial ones that have stronger stitching and elastic loops. It would be ideal if this type of leg strap were the standard for these rugs. I'm actually buying another one for a friend who also has a wide-barreled horse, and she is aware to keep spare leg straps on hand just in case.

I was very pleased with the rug. My mare wore it for the first time this weekend, and she stayed dry without any rubbing. She is also a large-barreled horse, and the rug fits her well. I’ll be ordering another one for a friend who was impressed by it.

Great rug. Keeps my big bot dry and warm.
