Ruyao Ceramic Gaiwan 100ml

I thought this was going to be the same manufacture as the W2T standard ruyao gaiwan, but unfortunately it is not. The lid does not fit as well, and even more unfortunately, the conductivity of the clay/glaze is somehow a lot higher, so this thing gets HOT in the hand. Too hot to handle for someone not used to scorching teaware. I’ve never had the lid knob on any gaiwan get as hot as this one does. 3 stars because despite those flaws, it makes good tea, and the craquelure builds up quickly. The cracks themselves are large and relatively sparse, which creates an effect I like.
