Libra makes it easy

The Libra has worked extremely well. Easy to set up and use. The grinds are ‘fluffier’ than with my Rancilio Rocky and espresso extractions are consistent. The machine allows fine precision for dialing in your beans. My workflow is easier and quicker now. I’m particularly pleased that the Eureka is made in Italy, like my other espresso equipment.

A pleasant upgrade from my basic Starbucks grinder

After testing the output, its measurements are on point. I have found it challenging to hone in the right grind size, but that's likely due to inexperience. The grinder did jam one time, which I found odd, but it was easy to remove the cover, remove three screws, and give it a quick vacuum and cleaning. So far, so good.

Eureka scores - very happy for those

While I've been happily using the Eureka XL for two years, I find this GBW feature a super help for accuracy when serving multiple drinks - I still use my timer/scale to check grind on a programmable Bezzera Duo. It's surprisingly quiet, and faster that I'd expected for the 55mm vs my XL's 65mm burrs. I love it, and will be interested when a dedicated 65mm espresso version appears.
