Fender Fullerton uke bass owners take note..

These flats sound great on my Fullerton uke bass but installation was tricky. The low E string was a bit too long so had to add a few small washers on the ball end. The silk wrapped leader end had to be cut and carefully unwound to fit in the tuning peg hole, (after cutting all but about 1 inch off. ) However, after some creative modifications, the strings sound fabulous! Much better than the nickel wound strings that came with the bass. Hope they last a long time cause they're pricey!

May not work for fretless

These strings feel great under the fingers and the tone is good. On my bass the lower positions F, B flat, E on the D String, they had too little tension and developed quite a buzz. If you've got frets, they may work fine. My other concern is the cost. Almost double in the past year for ALL U- Bass strings. I'm going to have to try an alternative brand.
