Professional Aged Paulownia Guqin

The guqin is beautiful with great sound. Very much appreciated advice from Sound of Asia. I am a beginner but wanted a quality instrument. This product was perfect. I ordered table and chair with the guqin and was glad that I did. The guqin and table work nicely together.

Sounds Great and Feels Sturdy but Light

Disclaimer: This is my first Chinese musical instrument and I'm also not trained in music at all. Having said that, I like the sound that comes from this Guqin. I was able to fine tune it using a digital tuner (specific to Guqin) so I know I'm listening to the right sounds. It is a very interesting instrument with a nice laquer finish that gives it a natural look on top of its nature-like sound. The strings feel pretty sturdy too. It also comes with a black, somewhat-hard, carrying case and inside it has soft cover for extra protection. As someone who loves Chinese calligraphy, I love this cover because it is covered in characters in the grass/cursive style. Anyways, I couldn't be happier with this purchase and I believe it is a good starting Guqin (If you can afford it, of course).
