Nomad slide kick

This is my first surface iron and I’m trying to figure out my retrieves. So far a fast skip on the water, or a slow retrieve with a twitch has worked for me. First day of using it after my 10th cast and I landed a guesstimate 12lb. Blue trevaly. Very durable, hooks are strong and no signs of rust. I will always have a sidekick in my backpack.
