Great colors but yarn is stiff

The colors are vibrant and just what I was looking for but the yarn is stiff, not soft like an acrylic yarn usually feels. Although it is labeled as 100% acrylic, it feels like a cotton yarn. I intended to use this yarn for a blanket but it really isn’t suitable for this purpose.

I haven't started my project yet, but I can see straight away that this yarn is very soft and will be a pleasure to work with. I chose the colour because of my Granddaughter's love of mauve. This has mauve in it, but as it isn't the main colour I think the finished object will be beautiful, with shades of colour throughout.

As always my parcel was well packed and delivered in fantastic time. FedEx courier was polite and professional. Yarn fantastic quality 👏
