Was hesitant to buy this because I hate running hats. They look ridiculous with their huge brims and I look like a goofball in them. I took a chance and this is to date the best running hat I’ve ever owned. It feels like a regular baseball cap and the wicking is amazing! No sweat in my eyes on own my face. I would know because I sweat like a polar bear stuck in Dubai. Great hat I’ve already ordered another and look forward to running this summer.

I found Alter Ego through research for a new running hat. I ordered a coaster splash style as it was most fitting for my regular daily hats. So far 8 Ive logged a little over 45 miles running this week between treadmill and outside (cold in upstate NY). My first impressions are simple.... the most comfortable and breathable hat ive owned to date. The material does as stated, no sweat stains showing, doesn't hold a smell like previous hats... just simply hand wash with cold water and hang to dry. This hat is light enough that I dont feel it on my head at all and the band is super comfortable leaving no hat marks after long runs. I just ordered a pair of shorts and likely will be ordering more apparel for my upcoming races this spring and summer.

Looks Great - Too Tall

The style is awesome so I bought two different in the coaster line. This is their medium depth crown and is still far too deep for my average sized head. The lower profile line unfortunately doesn’t have the styles I liked.
