Just what I wanted!!!!

I was looking for a subtle dnd case to match my character and this was a perfect fit. The quality is also really nice and the phone case is tougher than I thought it was going to be. I usually go for more decorative cases, so I’ve ended up with some flimsy ones over the years but this one is very durable. I will say the color of the wood is a bit darker than expected, but I saw that being said in a lot of reviews and I actually prefer the color. Overall, like the title says, it’s just what I wanted!

Awesome product that feels great to touch. Absolute definition of a functional art piece. The engraving work is superb. 10/10

Woodwork looks better IRL

Going to start with: the woodwork detail is amazing! The DETAILS! Got S24Ultra "Shield". I was a little worried about how it would hold the Ultra with the full square screen, but the minimal edge grip seems to hold on quite well. I added a screen protector - the protector and the case work well together with no real loss of screen touchablility ... even in the corners. Buttons work smooth with all ports open. While this doesn't really add any waterproofing - that wasn't why I got this case even though I know the wood part is treated if it did get wet. Thin enough that wireless charging work fine. My only true gripe (not worth a full star loss, but maybe a 4.5): the camera lens area in the ad shows an open area. (maybe i see this wrong). However, the case has a built in plastic "cover" with holes aligned to the lenses and sensors. This did prevent me from attaching the protective lens covers that came with the screen protector as it can't support that little extra rise in the lens area and lost grip near that corner forcing me to remove them. The plastic cover does add some protection to the lens except for any direct hit (that would have to go into the hole and strike directly). Due to the minimal chances for that scenario, I can't bring myself to dock them for this.
