Too small in the armscye

Overall the bra did its job during a 4 mile test run. I love the breathable fabric but I feel like the fit is made for a weird body. I purchased a small (I usually wear a 30 DD) and felt like the band was too loose on the tightest setting. That said, there was minimal bounce (slightly more than my wacoal). I'm also short and loved that the shoulder straps were adjustable but the design expects you to have long shoulders. The sides of the bra DUG into my armpits after I made the shoulder straps short enough. They chafed during my run and gave me some irritated red skin. I'll probably wear it for low impact workouts but it's uncomfortable. I'm wondering if sizing down would give me a better fit, but I'm not sure of if that would make the armpit issue better or worse.

So comfortable!

I originally ordered a large based on my measurements, but exchanged to a medium (the large was quite loose). These are very comfortable, hold everything in place, and I don't have to have a pre-workout workout to get them on!!
