Classic Underbed Drawer

I’m giving this drawer 4 stars because while I’m ultimately very happy with it, the process took a little longer than expected. The first drawer I received had some visible imprints and marks, so I contacted customer service and they sent a replacement. Unfortunately, the second drawer had the same issue. I reached out again and asked if they could send one from a different batch, and they acknowledged the problem and sent another replacement. The whole process took about three to four weeks, but throughout it all, Thuma’s customer service was consistently helpful and responsive. The final drawer arrived without the same defects. One thing I’ve noticed across several of my Thuma pieces in the walnut finish is some variation in color. This drawer is a bit darker and more brown-toned than my current bed and my other drawers, which are more reddish. Interestingly, the brownish tone does match one of my Thuma nightstands much more closely, so it seems the walnut finish can vary quite a bit from piece to piece or batch to batch. It doesn’t bother me enough to return it, and I still really like the piece, but it’s something to keep in mind if having an exact color match is important to you. Overall, I’m very happy with the furniture, and Thuma’s customer service has always made any issues I’ve had much easier to deal with.

Best Decision Ever

Was looking to simplify our bedroom furniture from a large heavy bed from Ethan Allen to a more modern and slimer look. Thuma was the best choice we made! Easy to assemble and the profile is beautiful. We love it!

I placed the order on September 14. The shipping estimate was 7 to 10 days. It is now October 4, twenty days later, and the order still has not delivered completely. In that time I have sent more than 22 emails. Every reply has been some version of "Let me check with the team." No one has ever come back with an answer. Each time, I have had to write again just to receive that same response. To be clear, Thuma's customer service is responsive. What it is not is accountable. Every message passes my question to someone else, and that someone else never returns. I do not think this is what Thuma stands for in terms of professionalism and work ethic. After twenty days and 22 emails, I need a real answer rather than another handoff. Thanks.
