Heavy Hold | Authentic Heavy Hold Pomade

I really wanted to like this pomade based on the reviews and the claims, but it just didn’t work for me. I have thick hair styled in a high pompadour, so I need a product with exceptional hold. I tried both the Goon Grease and this Heavy Hold, and unfortunately neither lived up to the advertised performance. Within about two hours, the hold had almost completely given out and my hair had fallen flat. I’ve used many different pomades over the years, so I’m familiar with what a true heavy hold product can do. This one simply wasn’t strong enough for my hair, despite being marketed as a heavy hold that performs well in heat and with perspiration. It may work for others with different hair types or styles, but it completely failed for mine. I was very disappointed.

I'm not sure if some of the ingredients are different but I've been buying this same pomade for years and somehow I can just tell the difference in the texture. From getting out of the jar just felt different. When I go and apply it to my hair it won't come off my hands (lol). This has never happened before so I'm not sure but then it just get clumpy in my hair so looks like I have dandruff =(. I still love the product but I hope either I just got a bad batch or something gets fixed.
