Performance Quatro Sunglasses: Tortoise Z87+

Just what I needed.

I bought a pair of these bc I do a lot of exterior trim work. The white PVC sheets can be blinding. My new heatwaves solved that problem. These things are so cool, all the guys are jealous. My favorite part is the side shields. Now I don’t want to wear any glasses that don’t have side shield. I love how thoroughly it keeps the sun out of my eyes. Super high quality, super good looking, super happy with my purchase. Next I’m going to get a pair of XL vice with transition lenses.

I’ve been a fan of Heat Wave for several years now and they’re the only sunglasses I wear. I work on a boat in Hawaiʻi, so my sunglasses get used hard every day in the sun, salt, and ocean conditions, and Heat Wave has always held up great. I own almost every color in the Lazer Face style because they fit my head perfectly and are hands down my favorite sunglasses. I recently purchased one of the newer styles to try something different. While the quality is still great, I’m personally not as big of a fan of the fit compared to the Laser Face. This newer style feels a little loose on my head, whereas the Laser Face fits me perfectly. That being said, I’ll continue to be a loyal customer and will definitely keep adding more Lazer Faces to my collection. Great products and a great brand.

Good, but not great.

The glasses do not hug my head as tightly as I’d like. In some circumstances, they can slip off my face. I’ve previously owned brown sunglasses (from Hidalgo) and these don’t seem to distort colors as much, which is good. I also like the side shields, which should come in handy when I’m shooting.
