USA 1931 3D Raised Relief Map

Birthday Gift for Grandson

My grandson really likes maps, and I bought this for him on his tenth birthday. I heard from his father that he likes it and they are both impressed with the quality of the map. I will be visiting them in October and will view the map myself then.

My second 3D map. It looks great. I have it mounted so the light hits it at an angle and creates realistic shading. Super cool looking. I'm getting to know the topography of the USA, so much better, every time I look at the map. Off-Roader😀

Perfect USA 1931 3D Raised Relief Map

Very happy with the purchase and the overall product. Care was taken to ensure the map was packaged and delivered safely. I’m a Geospatial Engineer/GIS analyst and I appreciate the development of products like this. For customers that complain about some marginalia such as the legend items being difficult to read, you have to take into consideration the size of this map and when it was originally produced. There’s only so much you can during image processing and turning this into a raised 3D print. This is meant to be more of an aesthetic wall hanging map to appreciate, less of a map for detailed study. I am pleased with this addition to my wall collection and look forward to my next future purchase.
