Adequate for it's purpose
I feel the sheath is adequate.. I thought the leather would have been heavier. If I had made the sheath, I'd have used most likely 6-7oz veg tan or latigo leather. That would definitely last a lifetime. This may, but I'm not holding my breath. It'll work though.
