I have been making my own clear ice cubes for a couple of years using a small cooler and developed lots of cheats to get clear cubes. I didn’t think it was a lot of work for clear ice for my favorite drink. The old Fashioned. Now that I have the Clear Ice set, the chests are no longer necessary. Pour in hot water, put the Clear Ice bucket and tray into the freezer wait 30 hours and peel out six perfect big clear ice cubes! Drinks with clear cubes just look more palatable. Great work on the system!
