47222-S Amana Tool Miniature Flush Trim Plunge Bit

The only dislike i had and reason i had to order more, was the fact that the bearing broke off on the second inlay pattern i was attempting to make. I went from a softwood no issues of course. My second project was Walnut. Keep in mind this is truly AWSOME on softwoods. But, not so good on hardwoods. I took a chance and ordered 3 more of these bits.

Great little bit. Don’t use too deep on hardwoods.

I used this bit for the first time this weekend. AWSOME hard working little bit. Keep in mind not to go to deep on your first pass. I did so on walnut and broke the bit. Completely my fault. I should know better. I just ordered 3 more. As with anything routing out, in hardwoods, softwoods even it is better to setup for shallow cuts to get to your desired depth.

Flush Trim Bit is OK

This Trim Bit works just fine and makes nice hand lettering.
