The shoes have to be tied. I have a high instep so I have to loosen the ties, put my foot in , and then tighten the ties. It is going to take some time to get used to having my feet feel the floor under me. They’re probably not for a 72 year old woman.

I was worried that the loose fit would be so loose that I would walk out of them but definitely not the case, the fit is amazing, just love these things!
