My daughter-in-law gave me one last year. Sadly, the bolo feature was damaged when I pulled off a jacket with elastic on the sleeve bottom. A friend restrung it but it fell off somewhere in my house! I liked it - and the associated sentiment - so I bought another one. (Garnet is my birthstone). I think any wearer needs to be careful about how often to loosen or tighten the bolo because it's rather fragile. But I (still) like the style and appearance.
