Half Moon H-Web, Igniter Spark Plug 4-Finger

My son is a 7 year old second baseman. He just turned 7 in June (so he played spring 2026 as a 6 year old). So he is young and I could not find a glove that his little hand could close. He previously had a Rawlings and a Wilson. . . but I had to teach him to "catch with two hands. " I did not want him to develop bad mechanics or habits long term. I wanted him to catch with his fingers up above the belt, and fingers down below the belt. But the other gloves weren't working! So I did some research to try to find a glove he could actually close. I landed on the Bradley, Half-moon H web Igniter, 4 finger! And I'm glad I did! I broke the glove in in a little over a week (which was super easy). It is high quality leather, but not as thick or stiff as other gloves. I played catch with it and pounded it with my glove mallet and it was ready in no time! Once I had it broken in I let him start playing with it. He began catching with better mechanics, snagging fly balls one handed, and looked better on ground balls! Honestly, he looks like a completely different player due to the glove. I am excited to see what he does on the diamond with his Bradley on next spring!

Bought this glove for my 5 year old tee ball player transitioning to coach pitch. It’s perfect. Very little break-in needed and he felt confident in the field his first time out.

Such a well made glove. My 6 y/o sold loves it for tee-ball and I look forward to him continuing to use his Igniter through machine pitch little league.
