The perfect book safe from the best book safe business

I love camouflaged, everyday items that keep secrets by having been transformed into small personal safes. They keep contents secure and are much easier to hide in plain sight among other everyday objects. For small stashes, a book safe is much easier to locate and use than a bulky black fire safes "hidden" in a closet. I now keep my spare keys in a popcorn can in a kitchen cabinet, my emergency cash in a can of vegetables in the pantry, and my best jewelry in a hollowed out hairbrush in a bedroom drawer. The very best type for hiding are book safes! Every wall in our home is filled with crowded bookshelves, so the safe is impossible to spot. My newest book safe, courtesy of Secret Storage, is an old bestseller missing its dust cover (like any well-thumbed volume), and now tucked, alphabetically and indistinguishably in plain sight, on a tall bookshelf among a hundred similar old hardcovers. Because it's a novel type of item and a fun way to keep a secret, book safes also makes excellent gifts! My young nieces and nephews love them. The Secret Storage website is easy to navigate and features a huge array of catalogued books. Prices are wonderfully accessible. Ordering was streamlined and seller communication excellent. These are good people! Best of all, their safes are made from real books, not simulated book-like plastic boxes that vaguely resemble books except they are too sharp-cornered and phony not to stick out. Hiding one of these boxes is like hiding a fire extinguisher: it's obvious and looks out of place. A fire extinguisher should stand out, a book safe should not. Overall, this has been was an excellent purchase and happy transaction. I'll be back!
