Ariana and Evans Khalifa Artisan Shaving Soap, 4oz - Ultima Base

Not bad

I had the original Khalifa from around 2018-2019 and i loved that soap, but this one’s just different. The original had more of a nice sweet funk to it that i enjoyed, but this one really dialed up the herbals, and for most of the shave it smelled like a dried herb blend. A hint of tobacco came out around halfway through, as did a bit of resin - but the dried herb still dominated. It reminds me more of a rustic tuscan scent, on par with storybrook soaps’ “carnivale.” If that’s your thing you’ll enjoy it.
