Not too satisfied.

Understand that striation is natural on some leather, but I think it would be nice for the team to make an effort to try to reach out to customers and see if they have a preference for any characteristics or make a note of the batch to indicate if they have any characteristics since they don’t accept returns. Also bc I didn’t see any striations on any Emma colored leather, so wasn’t expecting this and now I’m stuck with it.

My Darcy

I love my Austen A6. (& b6 slim, pocket plus, & narrow). I love carrying it in my hands. It has a light sheen. It is not floooy but not hard or stiff. Nice easy structure. This leather does scratch easily but it is the personality of what Austen is. It patinas beautifully! My favorite!

The More You Use It, The More You’ll Love It!

My Austen Emma in Narrow Cascade (Paired with Austen Emma in Nano which is my wallet) is a mainstay in my collection! I bought it a few years ago, and it has patina’d nicely. The leather softens, gets shinier and more pliable with use. I can’t bear to part with it. It is my comfort. Believe me, this is not the only Austen notebook cover in my collection! Thank you, Chic Sparrow, for providing such great quality leather, where other companies fail.
