My son absolutely loves this helmet, he always complained about the organization provided equipment hurting his head and neck. Havent had one complaint since switching to the Tomahawk

Excellent helmet!

With our son starting high school football (after years of youth football), we wanted him to have the best protection he could get. After doing lots of research we landed on the Light Apache. True to its name, it is noticeably lighter than the helmets the school provides (Schutt F7 and Riddell Speedflex) and our son LOVES his helmet. he had his first game playing linebacker and running back this past Friday; he took (and delivered) some good shots, and while the scuffs tell the story, he said he never noticed a single impact to his head. Outstanding!!!

My son likes his helmet and we appreciate how customizable it is. Last year his inflatable pads would change with the weather and it never fit right game-to-game. He says this is much for comfortable. I have not felt another helmet yet to verify it’s lighter but he likes it.
