Sneaky Elves

I am a special education teacher for 3rd-5th grades. It's tough trying to get older kids to read cvc words, as they often refer to them as "baby" even if they have not mastered the skill. My students LOVE this game and come to small groups begging to play it. Thanks for making reading fun!

Fun game

My son that is in first grade has been struggling with reading his cvc's and this game has made learning fun for him. He grabs this game a couple times a week and plays it.

Great for Kindergarten and First Graders

I work with small groups of struggling readers and my First Graders love this game. It makes reading CVC words fun. It is starting to get too easy for them though. I have started using it with Kindergarteners who are just starting to sound out words. I like that the cards are color coded so they don't have to search through all the words to find the one that matches.
