Sunny Toor was the first ....

Sunny Toor was the first (and so far, only) lentil mix of the trio I ordered that we've tried. My husband ate it without complaint, :-), but then he's not into lentils as much as I am. I LOVED it and can't wait to try the other varieties. It was spicy, but not too much. Along with the tomato, I added two diced banana peppers and more garlic ('cause we love lots). A dollop of plain yogurt and a squeeze of lime finished it off! I served it with brown Basmati rice.

I have been pleasantly surprised at how much I like these lentils. I wanted to start eating lentils because I know they are really good for me. I knew I would not do them justice if I tried to cook them myself. I added kale to this flavor and I like it! Thanks for helping me eat well!

Loved the Sunny Toor mix. I did sauté some onions along with the tomato. And added some more spice. Hard to eat a whole jar’s worth of lentil meals when you live alone!
