your Gibraltar description of this tom arm stated the hex rod is 9.5 mm . I purchased it for use with a Rogers tom that accepts a 9.5 mm hex rod . The Gibraltar hex rod is actually 10 mm . I replaced the 10 mm rod with a 9.5 mm allen wrench and the change worked acceptably .
