I find it a must if you ever take a rack appart and don't want to spend an entire day to put it back together. Personally, I like to ring everything, my only complaint is that of you want more pieces shipping is not free, unless you spend a lot of money. On the good side is that Gibraltar is fully upgradable, I turned my rack into a triple decker, but it was not cheap
