I have now been using this glass since January 2024 on an almost daily basis in multiple locations and environments and I can honestly say it’s absolutely amazing. I am shooting with a Nikon Z8 and this combination is mindblowinngly sharp with unreal image detail. I waited for some time before reviewing as I wanted to really put it through its paces so now after approximately 150 dives in low and bright light, good and bad viz, shallow and deep. creatures great and small from our whale shark season and the smaller critters such as leaf fish it has always delivered. Needless to say as a dive professional taking images for 25 years I am very impressed indeed. This wet lens with a simple 28-50 cheap Nikon lens on the camera will cover anything from a large sea slug to a 15m whale shark full frame and close up with little to no edge distortion all in striking detail. I guess my only advice would be to ensure you keep some lens cleaner handy as its very important to dry and clean the glass immediately as stubborn spotting will appear if it drip drys, this can sometimes be inconvenient on small dive boats but believe me its well worth the hassles. I will conclude by saying should something go wrong and I lost use of this lens I would immediately go buy another as its that marvellous I could not be without one.
