I had been using saddle soap for years and thought I'd give this a try. OK now, these are two separate agents. I had some leather that needed not only cleaning, but restoration. This cleaner did the job. SAFETY NOTICE: Use this product outside! The cleaner clearly states this on the label, but it's worth repeating. There is a strong odor. To continue, I let the item dry and it looked a lot better. This cleaner doesn't leave a sheen, so I used some Saddle Soap and it's drying now. Next I'll use a neutral polish. If you work with leather, I'm sure you know this will darken your leather. It does lighten somewhat up once it is dry. The same goes for Saddle Soap. All in all, this product is worth getting. I also use their creme polish on other leather. All I can say is buy with confidence.
