Something has changed

This order was my third (!) pair of jeans in this style and this color. That's how much I love them and wear them! My first two pairs were pretty identical in fit and stretch. This third pair is different and not in a good way. I ordered the exact same fit, style, color, and size as my previous two pairs, but this pair fits much tighter and stiffer. I have not gained or lost weight or changed body shape, so the only explanation I have is that NYDJ has changed manufacturing in some way. I will keep the third pair and hope that they soften up with time and washes. It's frustrating when this happens.

Has the sizing changed?

I love these jeans but they are now cut smaller than the Marilyn and some other styles. I take a 4 in Marilyn so I ordered that size in the Sherri. They “fit” but look skimpy and unflattering. I then ordered the 6 and as always they’re my favorites. I wish I could get them in white and in a dark wash.

Like the color. The seem a little stiff. I think I bought a size too small. The waist is too low for a natural fit for me.
